Taiba is an idyllic fishing village situated on the north coast; a favoured location amongst affluent Brazilians for some time now.

The daily temperature in the area ranges between 30-32c all year round, cooling to 24c at night. The sea is 28c. The area is renowned for its cooling sea breeze, a feature which lends itself to the kite surfing community who can be seen on the waves most days.
